The High Court has upheld the district and upazila quota system for the appointment of certified teachers in the private education institute. The High Court gave the verdict after hearing a writ petition.
Due to this quota system, many meritorious students are deprived of jobs. It is contradictory to Article 29 of the Constitution. So, the court of Jamalpur filed a writ with 172 registration certificates including Selim Reza.
The court issued the ruling after hearing the hearing. After the hearing, the court handed down the verdict.
Earlier on Nov 08, the High Court bench of Justice Qazi Reza-ul-Haq, Justice Mohammad Ullah, issued the rule. Besides, the quota system for recruitment is also asked for why the RU will not be confronted with the constitution.
Lawyer Ishrat Hassan said the writ was filed in the High Court by challenging sub-rule 2 (c) of Rule 9 of the Act of the Private Teacher Registration Examination, 2006. Jamalpur filed a writ with 172 registration certificates including Salim Reza. 2 (c) states that the list of results will be prepared and published according to the upazilas, districts and national-based merit list of candidates who passed written and oral examinations.
